Come join us at beautiful Vasona Lake County Park in Los Gatos. This is a great opportunity to hang out with your community and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by the lake.

For those more adventurous, FREE accessible kayaking is available for NorCal Spinal Cord Injury participants, whether you have kayaked before or it’s your first time, it’s too good an opportunity to pass up.

The event is free and there will be no entrance charge to the park if you present your parking placard. NorCal SCI will be providing lunch.

Please register for lunch and adaptive kayaking so we can properly plan for the event.

Overview

LGS Recreation, who run the boating program, also have kayaks reserved for family members and friends for a discounted rental fee of $15.

There will be 8 open time slots for ADA kayaking (2 person kayaks) based on interest. The dock is fully accessible and has an operational lift to aid in transfers for wheelchair users. There will also be staff on hand to assist.

Feel free to bring along family members and friends who would like to kayak with you and/or hang out with you for lunch.
