This Privacy Policy describes how Amplife® (amplife.co, "the Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

  • Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.

Customer support information

  • Personal Information collected: name, email address, phone number, and order number.

Preference and personalization information

  • Purpose of collection: to personalize your experience on the Site, including product recommendations, homepage content, and communications tailored to the disability categories and interests you have shared with us.

  • Source of collection: provided by you during account setup or updated in your account settings.

  • Disclosure for a business purpose: not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Used solely within our platform and communications.

As used in this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" refers collectively to Device Information, Order Information, Customer Support Information, and Preference and Personalization Information.

Sensitive Personal Information

We collect certain categories of Sensitive Personal Information as defined under applicable law, including payment card data and, for vendor accounts, tax identification information such as Social Security numbers and Employer Identification Numbers submitted via IRS Form W-9. We collect Sensitive Personal Information solely to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including processing transactions and meeting IRS reporting obligations. We do not use Sensitive Personal Information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or share it. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the Order Information we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the Site, including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and order confirmations. Additionally, we use Order Information to:

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information relating to our products or services.

We use Device Information to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site and to assess the success of our marketing efforts.

We use Preference and Personalization Information to customize your experience on the Site and in our communications, such as showing you products and content relevant to the disability categories and interests you have shared with us. This personalization is first-party only. We do not share your preference information with third-party advertising networks for the purpose of showing you ads on other websites.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

If Amplife® is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your Personal Information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16 in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or applicable law. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Amplife® does not sell your Personal Information. Amplife® does not share your Personal Information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, as that term is defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We do not discriminate against any user for exercising their privacy rights.

If you would like to exercise your opt-out right or submit a preference signal, please visit our CCPA Opt-Out page.

If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal enabled, we will treat this as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information for the device and browser you used to visit our website, consistent with CPRA requirements.

EEA and UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your Personal Information under the following lawful bases:

Automatic Decision-Making

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

We use limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or significant effect on you. This includes:

  • Temporary blocking of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This block persists for a short number of hours.

  • Temporary blocking of credit cards associated with blocked IP addresses. This block persists for a short number of days.

Retention of Your Personal Information

We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws. The following general retention periods apply:

  • Account and order data: retained for the duration of your account and for 7 years following your last transaction, to satisfy applicable legal and tax recordkeeping requirements.

  • Payment card data: retained only as long as necessary to complete the transaction and for fraud prevention purposes, in accordance with PCI-DSS requirements.

  • Tax identification information (W-9, 1099): retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with IRS regulations.

  • Customer support records: retained for 3 years following resolution of the support request.

  • Preference and personalization data: retained for the duration of your account. You may update or delete your preferences at any time through your account settings.

International Transfers of Personal Information

Amplife® is based in the United States. We use third-party service providers, including our e-commerce infrastructure provider, that may process and store your Personal Information on servers located in the United States and other countries. If you are visiting the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your Personal Information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.

For users in the EEA or UK, transfers of Personal Information to countries that are not deemed adequate by the European Commission are conducted under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses or other transfer mechanisms approved under applicable data protection law.
