Shane's Amplife® Story

Infections that couldn’t be controlled initiated me into the Amplife. I fought them for several years until the final straw of Osteomyelitis took my right leg on December 1st, 2017. Three years later on June 3rd, 2020, my left leg succumbed to the same fate.

How do you give back to the community?

I help and mentor other amputees & adaptive individuals in and around my area.

Proudest moment?

When I got on my motorcycle as a bilateral below knee amputee and rode it like I stole it!

Favorite way to be active?

Outdoors stuff, camping, hiking, and riding motorcycles.

Guilty pleasure?

I am also a tattoo artist so I love drawing and tattooing.

What do you love about Amplife®?

They educate people about how the Amplife is a good life while sharing others' and my journey! There are so many beautiful souls and amazing people out there living the Amplife with me!
