SuZanne's Amplife® Story

I am a U.S. Army female veteran. After 22 surgeries, I lost my leg from service connected injuries. I was in a very dark place until I started meeting other amputees, especially Amplife and all they do.

That started my journey to helping other amputees and amputee modeling.

How do you give back to the community?

Limbnaid is my social media platform for peer support and motivation. I also do local hospitals' peer support visits.

Song that gets you hyped?

VAMPIRE'S DIET - 3OH!3, The Used, Bert McCracken.

Proudest moment?

The day my daughter asked me if I was going to die in my bed. I got up and walked to the mailbox. Day 1 of owning my amputation.

Favorite way to be active?

Dancing. Always dancing.

Guilty pleasure?

I build miniature doll houses.

What do you love about Amplife®?

Amplife. It's in the name. Giving people their life back. I love the way the clothing allows me to own my life as an amputee proudly and what they stand for, the funny & the strong.
