The Lake Forest College Athletic Department and Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association will host the annual Sleds Are Coming exhibition sled hockey event at the Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse & Ice Rink at Lake Forest College starting at 2:00 PM CST.

The event is free to attend and no registration is required. Hockey players and community members are invited to volunteer.

Overview

Practices are on Sunday evenings in Lake Bluff, IL. The team travels to 3-4 tournaments in the Midwest each year.

GLASA is part of the Falcons Hockey Association with both competitive and recreational sled hockey teams. Sled hockey follows most of the rules of ice hockey except for equipment. Able-bodied hockey players are encouraged to support as pushers for sled hockey athletes.

A GLASA Membership is required for all individuals who would like to participate in GLASA's Weekly Programs. Scholarships are available as GLASA will never turn anyone away due to financial hardship. Please contact GLASA if you are in need of a scholarship or would like to try out GLASA's programs with 1 free month.
