Kimberly's Amplife® Story

A little about me.

I gave up 4 wheels on November 17, 2011, when my daughter turned 16. I have rode motorcycles daily over 60k miles a year until May 6, 2019 when a near-fatal accident took my right leg. I was told the only thing I said for the first 3 days was that I would ride my motorcycle again.

A nurse at the hospital saw my determination and gifted me my 1st Amputee Life t-shirt and ever since I treasure all my Amputee Life shirts. I have adopted the phrase “Defeat is not my Destiny” as my driving force. I have gifted 3 new amputees with Amputee Life swag with the hope that they gain the strength to near give up.

I have goals and I will return to a new motorcycle on May 2, 2020. My Amputee Life shirts will be there with me adding strength to my adventure.

Respectfully Kimberly Chavez aka ”I Lean”
