A little extra assistance to enjoy the thrill of skateboarding

Green Mountain Adaptive Sports is partnering with Talent Skatepark in Burlington, VT to offer an all-inclusive, adaptive skateboard program designed for athletes with physical and/or neuro disabilities.

These sessions provide a safe and supportive space for individuals who need extra assistance to enjoy the thrill of skateboarding in a way that works for them.

Amputation / Limb Difference, Blindness / Low Vision, Mobility Impairment, Paralysis / Spinal Cord Injury, Neurological Disorder, and Short Stature

Overview

Weekly sessions will kick off on Sundays, from October 19th to Nov 16th, 11am-12pm and are limited to 5 athletes. GMAS will award scholarships to Vermont residents to receive 6 sessions of lessons, including the rental of all necessary equipment.
