One of NorCal SCI’s community members, Armando, hosts a virtual support group specifically for men with SCIs.
Any man with a spinal cord injury can attend. It's an open space to talk about anything related to SCI. Some of the topics that are open for discussion are relationships, bowel and bladder, recovery, traveling, working, depression. As men it is hard to find outlets to talk about things. Having SCI just adds stress to that with everything that comes with it. I'm just trying to give us a safe space where we can have conversations about life with with SCI.
